Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Integrated Engineering Systems, Applied Sciences and Management Research (IJIESASMR) welcomes the submission of high-quality original research papers, review articles, technical communications, case studies, and interdisciplinary research contributions from academicians, researchers, scientists, industry professionals, and scholars worldwide.

Authors are requested to prepare and submit their manuscripts strictly according to the journal’s prescribed formatting guidelines and manuscript structure. Adherence to these guidelines ensures uniformity, improves readability, enhances academic presentation, and facilitates a smooth peer-review and publication process. Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal guidelines may be returned to the authors for correction before being considered for peer review.

The journal encourages ethical, innovative, application-oriented, and interdisciplinary research that contributes significantly to scientific advancement, technological innovation, industrial development, and global knowledge dissemination.

PAPER FORMAT AND LAYOUT

Authors must ensure that manuscripts are prepared in a professional, clear, concise, and publication-ready format.

General Formatting Requirements

• File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
• Language: Clear, concise, and grammatically correct English
• Paper Size: A4 Size
• Margins: 1 inch on all sides (Top, Bottom, Left, Right)
• Font Style: Times New Roman
• Font Size: 12 pt for main text
• Line Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
• Text Alignment: Justified
• Page Numbering: Pages should be numbered consecutively
• Title Font Size: 14 pt Bold
• Heading Style: Bold and properly numbered where applicable

Authors are advised to carefully proofread the manuscript before submission to eliminate grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors.

To maintain consistency and academic quality, authors are encouraged to organize their manuscripts in the following sequence:

TITLE OF THE PAPER

The title should be concise, informative, specific, and clearly reflect the content and contribution of the research work. Avoid abbreviations and unnecessary technical jargon in the title.

AUTHOR DETAILS

Authors should provide:

• Full Name(s) of all authors
• Institutional Affiliation(s)
• Department Name
• City, State, and Country
• Email Address of the Corresponding Author

The corresponding author will be responsible for all communication regarding the manuscript during the review and publication process.

ABSTRACT

The abstract should provide a clear summary of the research work and should generally include:

• Purpose of the study
• Research methodology
• Major findings
• Key conclusions
• Practical implications

The abstract should be concise, informative, and preferably between 150–250 words. Avoid references, citations, equations, and undefined abbreviations in the abstract.

KEYWORDS

Authors should provide 4–8 relevant keywords that accurately represent the subject area and research focus of the manuscript. Keywords assist in indexing, search visibility, and research discoverability.

REFERENCE STYLE

Authors are required to follow the APA (Latest Edition) referencing style for manuscript preparation and citation formatting. Proper referencing enhances academic integrity, strengthens the credibility of research work, and enables readers to trace original sources effectively.

The reference list should contain only those sources cited within the manuscript and must be arranged alphabetically according to the surname of the first author.

General APA Referencing Guidelines

• Use author-date citation format within the text
• Ensure consistency between in-text citations and references
• Include DOI links wherever available
• Use hanging indentation for references
• Ensure references are accurate, complete, and properly formatted
• Avoid excessive self-citation
• Use recent and relevant scholarly references wherever possible

GUIDELINES FOR TABLES, FIGURES, GRAPHS, AND ILLUSTRATIONS

Authors are requested to ensure that all visual elements included in the manuscript are clear, relevant, properly labeled, and of high publication quality. Visual materials should support the interpretation and presentation of research findings.

General Guidelines

• All tables and figures must be cited within the main text before their appearance
• Number tables and figures consecutively using Arabic numerals
• Provide concise and descriptive titles/captions
• Avoid duplication of the same data in both graphical and tabular forms
• Ensure all visuals are original or appropriately credited
• Visual content should fit within page margins and maintain readability

GUIDELINES FOR TABLES

• Tables should be editable and created using MS Word table tools
• Avoid inserting tables as images
• Place table titles above the table
• Use clear row and column headings
• Avoid excessive formatting, colors, or decorative styles
• Mention data sources below the table where applicable

GUIDELINES FOR FIGURES AND IMAGES

• Figures, diagrams, photographs, and illustrations must be of high resolution
• Preferred image formats: JPEG, PNG, TIFF
• Minimum recommended resolution: 300 DPI
• Figure captions should be placed below the figure
• Ensure all labels, legends, and symbols are clearly readable
• Avoid blurred, distorted, or pixelated images

Graphs and charts should be professionally designed and easy to interpret.

EQUATIONS AND MATHEMATICAL EXPRESSIONS

• Equations should be created using Equation Editor or MathType
• Number important equations consecutively
• Define all variables and mathematical symbols clearly
• Use standard mathematical notation throughout the manuscript

Authors must ensure that all submitted work complies with international standards of publication ethics and academic integrity.
